About Hoda Kotb
Most will likely know television personality Hoda Kotb as co-host of the Today Show on NBC. But as of 2018, Hoda can also add best-selling children’s book author to her credits. Hoda has had a celebrated career on the air, winning a multitude of awards including several daytime Emmy’s. In 2010, Kotb released her autobiography, Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee, and subsequently authored five other books, including two children’s books. Both of her children’s books, I’ve Loved You Since Forever and You Are My Happy, reached number one on the New York Times Best-Sellers list.
In addition to her work as an author and television personality, Hoda has also become a leading advocate for breast-cancer awareness after beating the disease herself in 2007. She shared the details of her journey during an episode of The Today Show.
Why We Recommend
Although Hoda Kotb is relatively new to the world of children’s books, its hard to argue with her success. They are excellent choices for bedtime stories and full of charm. Both are beautifully illustrated by Suzie Mason and pair well with the loving, family-oriented themes. We recommend both books for all age groups.
