About Jory John
Jory John is a popular, American author whose works have been a fixture on the New York Times Best Sellers list. He’s best known for his books The Good Egg and The Bad Seed, both of which were illustrated by Pete Oswald. John’s books have won numerous state and national awards, including the E.B. White Read-Aloud Honor on two occasions.
In addition to his work as a children’s book author, John has also written for numerous television shows and has contributed to publications like The New York Times and The San Francisco Chronicle. He has more recently started his own YouTube channel as well which can be found here.

Jory John is one of our favorite children’s book authors. His books often contain a lot of comedy, while also layering in a positive message which make them great for any occasion. His notable collaborations with Pete Oswald, Lane Smith and Benji Davies have led to several popular series, making John one of the most popular authors today. While his books are targeted for preschool and elementary children, parents will also certainly enjoy them as well.
