About Janell
Originating from St. Paul, Minnesota, Janell Cannon spent the majority of her early career working as a graphic artist for the Carlsbad public library. It was during that time in 1993 where Cannon published her first, and most famous, work Stellaluna, which has been featured on the
National Education Association and School Library Journal’s list of 100 best children’s books of all time.
