About Sandra
Born in New Jersey, Sandra Boynton is a proven jack of all trades who has published more than fifty children’s books, in addition to writing songs, illustrating greeting cards and even designing clothing and jewelry!

As an author, Boynton has sold more than 60 million copies of her popular children’s books and also won numerous awards, including making it all the way to the top of the New York Times Best Seller’s List for her 2002 work Philadelphia Chickens.

Her stories are geared primarily for toddlers and often feature familiar rhyming patterns and humorous themes.
